A Beacon of Hope: Helping Animals Affected by the Los Angeles Fires

As the sun set over the foothills of Altadena and Pasadena California, it illuminated the horizon with an eerie glow, a stark reminder of the devastating fires that have swept through the region. Flames have forced countless residents to evacuate, leaving their homes and their beloved animals behind. The images are haunting--horses, cats, goats, and sheep—innocent lives caught in the chaos—fleeing from the raging inferno, searching for safety amidst the smoke and ash.

In the wake of this disaster, our hearts ache for the animals affected by these epic fires. Many have been lost, some rescued, others injured—each story a testament to resilience and the will to survive. For those of us on the East Coast, witnessing this tragedy from afar, the desire to help is overwhelming. At our tiny nonprofit, driven by a passion for animal welfare, knew we had to take action.

In response, we’ve created a beautiful necklace featuring a silhouette of a horse, dog, and cat—symbols of the unity and strength of all animals. This necklace is more than just a piece of jewelry; it’s a symbol of hope and compassion. Originally meant to raise funds for our own nonprofit and local animals, it is time to share and help others in need. With each purchase, 50% of proceeds will go directly to support the animals affected by the fires, providing them with the care and resources they need to heal and find new homes.

Donate Directly to the Rescue/Shelter Organizations

Feel free to donate more funds directly to the Pasadena Humane Society (dogs, cats, other small animals) and/or Fleet of Angels (horses and other animals). These organizations are working around the clock. While the community has generously donated supplies and pet food, they still need funds for medical attention and continuous care for the rescued pets and animals.
